Hoop Mountain Boys Middle School Showcase
- Since 1986, Hoop Mountain has been running annual showcases in New England
- In excess of 45 current and former NBA players are Hoop Mountain alumni. Here are some of the following:
- Donovan Mitchell
- Jalen Brunson
- Buddy Hield
- Andre Drummond
- Terance Mann
- Duncan Robinson
- Pat Connaughton
- Over two hundred participants have been offered scholarships at Hoop Mountain events
- Fifty current and former NBA coaches have been on Hoop Mountain staff. Here is a partial list:
- Tom Thibodeau – New York Knicks
- Rob Fauder – Miami Heat
- Andy Greer – New York Knicks
- Brian Keefe – Washington Wizards
- Cal Connolly – Los Angeles Lakers
Hoop Mountain Middle School Showcase features:
- The following prep schools will have their coaches instructing and coaching participants:
- St. Mark’s
- Pingree
- Milton
- Middlesex
- Rivers
- Brimmer & May
- Other prep schools as well as scouting services will be in attendance
Time and location:
- The Showcase will be held at The Pingree School located in South Hamilton, MA on November 11th 2025.
- Registration is 1:00-1:30pm, Warm-ups & Skill Stations 1:30-2:00pm, 3-on-3 Evaluation Games 2:00-2:30pm, 5-on-5 Evaluation Games 2:30-4:00pm.
- The event is open to 6th-9th graders

- Many other prep school coaches will be attending the showcase
- Prep Hoops will be in attendance to cover the event
- Showcase will consist of the following:
- Seminar for the parents on the following subjects:
- Prep school as an option
- How to navigate the prep school selection process
- How to select what prep schools to target
- How to maximize your financial aid award
- How to get on the radar of prep school and college coaches
- How to select the right basketball trainers, athletic performance trainers, and club programs
- Teaching from prep school coaches on the following topics:
- Mid range and three point shooting
- Creating your own shot
- Playing off the ball
- Becoming more efficient as a scorer
- Finishing off the rim
- How to play 2 man basketball
- Transition offensive
- Playing physical
- Round Robin Evaluation Game:
- Teams coached by prep school coaches
- Receive instruction in a five on five setting
- Receive feedback from prep school coaches
- Meet all the prep school coaches
